Bri & Joe’s Engagement

This past weekend I had the pleasure of doing my cousins engagement shoot. We drove to Pennsylvania on Friday and stayed the night at my Aunt and Uncle’s house. Saturday morning we got up early, had breakfast and headed to the photo shoot site. We arrived at the Steel Stacks  factory in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania also known as Bethlehem Steel.  Brandon and I were both taken by what we saw when we arrived. Neither of us had ever seen a steel factory the size of this one. It use to be the second largest steel manufacturer in the nation (no longer active). The first thought in my mind was to run all through the steel factory and take pictures of course! I had to quickly snap out of that mind set and remember what we were initially there for. Their working to make it a place for families, entertainment, art, and good food. To my understanding, they are still building this attraction, but I will say what they have accomplished thus far is worth returning for another visit. The people at the facility were kind enough to let us in early before the crowds. As we climbed the spiral stairs the large windows allowed for great lighting while my cousin and her fiancé proceeded to steal the show. Well actually it was their show…Lol!

After the shoot we walked through the casino to this Chinese food restaurant that none of us can remember the name of.  We stuffed ourselves silly…the food was delicious! The plan afterwards was to walk around and check out all they had to offer. That was a no go…we were beat! So we decided to head home. It was a pleasure to work with these guys and an honor to take part in this step toward their beautiful union. If you know anything about Brandon and myself you know this is a place we would love to explore further. We shall return!
